William Waesche Honored for 26 Years of Dedication to Education
JACKSONVILLE, FL, September 9, 2010 /Education PR News/ -- William Waesche, School Teacher and retired Athletic Coach at Mergenthaler Vocational-Technical Senior High School, has been named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Education. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only two male and two female members in each discipline are named professionals of the year. The Cambridge Who's Who selection committee chooses these special honorees based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements and leadership abilities.
For 26 years, William Waesche demonstrated an unwavering commitment to education at the Mergenthaler Vocational-Technical Senior High School, where he taught physical education and coached senior high school football and swimming prior to his retirement. For his achieved professional success to date, Mr. Waesche credits his dedication and commitment to each of his endeavors. Today, he continues to work as a substitute teacher at Providence High School, a private school in Jacksonville, Florida. He also lends his time to delivering bread and other baked goods to senior citizen developments in his area.
In addition to his professional and philanthropic pursuits, Mr. Waesche is a proud husband, father and grandfather. During an exclusive interview with Cambridge Who's Who, he noted that he and his wife (she is the granddaughter of the American impressionist artist Edmund Greacen) have been married for 50 years. He has two daughters, one son, and a total of 10 grandchildren— Brandon, Adam, Hannah, Naomi, Eden, Esther, Solomon, Kelsey, William III, and Lily.
Mr. Waesche holds a master's equivalent degree from Morgan State University, and a bachelor of science in education from the University of Maryland, conferred in 1959.
