Mackin's Funds4Books Disaster Relief Program Helps Tuscaloosa Schools Rebuild Library Collections

"Read Bama Read" in partnership with the Literacy Council of West Alabama is utilizing Mackin's Funds4Books Disaster Relief Program to replace school library collections destroyed by tornado.

    BURNSVILLE, MN, June 24, 2011 /Education PR News/ -- Mackin Educational Resources is assisting Tuscaloosa, Alabama, schools recover from the violent tornado that destroyed numerous schools and their library collections.

To replace the educational materials that were lost, "Read Bama Read", in partnership with the Literacy Council of West Alabama is utilizing Mackin's special Disaster Relief Funds4Books online donation program.

100% of all Funds4Books donations go directly to Tuscaloosa schools to replace library books, eBooks, DVDs, audiobooks and other educational resources. In addition, Mackin will match 10% of every $100 donation made, ship materials free of charge and shelf-ready with spine labels, barcodes, and downloadable information for the libraries' circulation systems - making certain that schools get the most value from their donations.
