HOUSTON, TX, October 15, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Stanford Who's Who welcomes Dr. Hagmon Simmons to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of his exceptional effort in the Education Industry. As Superintendent of the Texas Serenity Academy, as well as throughout his brilliant professional career, Dr. Simmons has routinely demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be considered among the best.
The Texas Serenity Academy is an accredited charter school that serves 56 students in grades K-12. The mission of the school is to provide an exemplary education for all students by creating a safe learning environment, in a way that students can learn, be challenged and feel valued, so that their success produces respect, responsibility and productive citizens of the local community.
Dr. Simmons is responsible for managing the funds and operations of the Academy. During his collegiate career, he earned a Master's degree in Public Administration from Texas State University. Hagmon also earned a Doctoral degree in Humanities. He is a member of the National Association of School Superintendents.
