Dr. Norizan Kassim Joins The Class Of Stanford Who's Who

MALAYSIA, November 19, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Stanford Who's Who proudly announces the addition of Dr. Norizan Mohd Kassim to the exclusive network of premier professionals as a result of her exceptional effort in the Education Industry. Throughout her phenomenal professional career, Dr. Kassim has consistently demonstrated the passion, vision and perseverance necessary to be considered among the best.
Over the course of her brilliant 13 year teaching career, Dr. Kassim has taught numerous courses at both the undergraduate and the graduate levels in several universities. She currently serves as a Professor of Marketing at the International Business School of the University of Technology Malaysia. She has also worked at University Tun Abdul Razak, Qatar University, United Arab Emirates University, and Multimedia University.
During her collegiate career, Dr. Kassim earned a Diploma in Accounting and Certificate of Accounting from the National Productivity Centre, Malaysia; Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Dubuque; and a PhD in Marketing from Southern Cross University, where her dissertation was entitled, Determinants of Customer Satisfaction and Retention in the Cellular Phone Market of Malaysia. She is a member of the Academy of Marketing Science, Malaysian Association of Accounting Technicians, and the Academy of International Business.
Dr. Kassim was the recipient of the 2005 Award of Excellence from McGraw Hill Publishing for the Best Paper in Operations Management/Management Information System for the paper, The Influence of IT on Organizational Agility in Malaysia, which was presented at the 5th Global Conference on Business and Economics. She also earned a Research Grant Award from the Qatar National Research Fund under the 2nd cycle of the National Priorities Research Program in 2009.
