Cambridge Who's Who Names Peggy Y. Donahe Professional of the Year in Education
Ms. Donahe has dedicated more than four decades to her profession
WAHPETON, ND, December 8, 2011 /Education PR News/ -- Peggy Donahe, retired Teacher for Aneth Community School, has been named a Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Education. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Cambridge Who's Who membership.
Ms. Donahe has always had a passion for education. Prior to retirement, she spent 44 years as a teacher, most recently serving at Aneth Community School. Over the years, Ms. Donahe served as a librarian, communicated with parents, organized book fairs, and worked with gifted children. In light of her accomplishments, she was recently selected for inclusion in Cambridge Publishing's Calendar Series. She was also chosen to be featured in Cambridge's "Top 101 Industry Experts" book. Ms. Donahe acknowledges that she was successful in her profession because of her hard work, concentration, and her ability to set and achieve goals.
Ms. Donahe holds a master's degree in education and is the president of her local chapter of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International. She is a five-time nominee of Who's Who Among American Teachers, and a was named Employee of the Year three times. Ms. Donahe looks forward to spending more time with her family during her retirement. She also enjoys watercolor painting, embroidery, cross stitching, and reading historical novels in her free time.
