Connie A. Newman Joins The Class Of Stanford Who's Who
Stanford Who's Who welcomes Connie A. Newman to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of her exceptional effort in the Education Industry.
PELICAN, AK, April 30, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Stanford Who's Who welcomes Connie A. Newman to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of her exceptional effort in the Education Industry. As Superintendent and a Teacher at Pelican City Schools, as well as throughout her incredible 22 year career, Connie has consistently displayed the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be considered among the best.
Connie is responsible for providing educational leadership and curriculum instruction as well as strategic planning, emergency preparedness, resource planning, fund development, and special event planning. She is an extraordinary mentor who assists her subordinates in setting and reaching goals.
During her collegiate career, Connie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Reading from Eastern Washington University, graduating with Honors in 1982. She went on to earn a Master of Education degree in Leadership at the University of Montana in 1989. Connie is currently studying Educational Leadership in Technology at the University of Alaska Southeast. She is a member of the American Association of School Administrators and the American School Counselor Association.
