BRONX, NY, May 7, 2011 /Education PR News/ -- Arsenio Devares, Special Education Teacher for The New York City Department of Education, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education.
Following his passion for teaching, Mr. Devares has worked as a special education teacher for The New York City Department of Education for the past 25 years. He develops individualized curricula for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten special education students, which cover fundamental life skills. He also conducts routine assessments for appropriate age-level development.
The recipient of a Master of Arts in special education, Mr. Devares is devoted to making a difference in the lives of children. Hoping to continue his success as he instills in children a lifelong interest in learning, he intends to pursue a Ph.D. in special education. Mr. Devares is a member of the UFT and a volunteer for the American Red Cross.
