Margaret M. Brennan Showcases Professional Brand through Cambridge Who's Who

Margaret M. Brennan received The Monsignor Thomas F. Noonan Award from the Catholic Teachers Association on December 4, 2002

FLUSHING, NY, May 18, 2011 /Education PR News/ --Margaret M. Brennan, Assistant Principal at I.S. 25 Adrien Block, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education.

With 38 years of professional experience, Ms. Brennan attributes her success to the family values with which she was raised. As assistant principal, she is responsible for supervising eighth-grade students, serving on school leadership teams, serving as a testing coordinator, delivering auditorium presentations, organizing talent shows and other programs and meeting with parents, students, and the principal. She was school's special education supervisor for four years before she became the assistant principal.

Ms. Brennan became involved in her profession because she was inspired by a friend's brother, who had Down syndrome and needed special education. She is a member of Phi Delta Kappa, the Catholic Teachers Association and the Council for Exceptional Children, and a recipient of The Monsignor Thomas F. Noonan Award from the Catholic Teachers Association.

In 1979, Ms. Brennan earned a professional diploma in administration from C.W. Post College (now Long Island University). She earned a master's degree in special education, plus 45, in 1975 from Wagner College, and a bachelor's degree in special education and elementary education in 1974 from the College of Steubenville (now Franciscan University of Steubenville).

Ms. Brennan also has a karaoke show with her husband called, "Lost in the 50's Entertainment," which they present in several Long Island and New York City locations.
