AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND, August 8, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Stanford Who's Who welcomes Dr. Manuka A. Henare to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of his exceptional effort in the Education Industry. As an Associate Professor at the University of Auckland School of Business, as well as throughout his brilliant professional career, Manuka has consistently demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be considered among the best.
Dr. Henare possesses extensive expertise in strategic planning, governance, foundations of leadership, indigenous peoples' business development, human rights, diversity in the labor force, and interfaith dialogues. He is an accomplished lecturer and Director of the Research Center at the University of Auckland. Manuka is also a private sector advisor in Maori business enterprise and development economics.
During his collegiate career, Manuka earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and a PhD in Anthropology and History from the Victoria University of Wellington. He is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors and the HSNO Decision Making Committee of the Environment Protection Agency.
In 2008, Dr. Henare received a Ministerial appointment to the Council of Te Wananga o Aotearoa. In 2010, he received a Ministerial appointment to the Governing Council of the Manukau Institute of Technology. Dr. Henare was the recipient of University of Auckland Business School Distinguished Contribution Award in 2010 and the University of Auckland Business School Dean's Award in 2006.
