Dr. Tommie Sue Montgomery Earns Membership With Stanford Who's Who

Dr. Tommie Sue Montgomery has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her outstanding professional career.

    NEWCASTLE, ON, CANADA, August 20, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Dr. Tommie Sue Montgomery has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her outstanding professional career. As President of Visual Aids for Latin American Studies, as well as throughout her brilliant career, Dr. Montgomery has routinely displayed the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.

Visual Aids for Latin American Studies is a business that offers flexible PowerPoint lectures on the history, culture, politics and economics of Latin American countries which are designed for teachers and professors at the high school and university levels. They also offer photo sets for countries, regions, archaeological sites, Latin American landscapes and geography, people, agriculture and industry.

Dr. Montgomery is the author of three books on El Salvador, editor of books on Mexico and on peacekeeping in Latin America, and has written widely for academic and popular publications. She has received three Fulbright's, to Argentina, Belize, and El Salvador. She has lectured at more than 60 colleges and universities in the western hemisphere, and has served as a consultant to USAID and the UN. During her collegiate career, Dr. Montgomery earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Government from Wesleyan College and a PhD in Politics from New York University.
