LA PLATA, MD, August 6, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Emily H. Ferren has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her outstanding professional career. As Director of the Charles County Public Library, as well as throughout her brilliant career, Emily has routinely displayed the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
The Charles County Public Library is affiliated with the library system that serves Charles County, Maryland. The library serves a population of about 125,000 people and their collection is made up of approximately 225,000 volumes. Emily is responsible for managing all major aspects of the library as well as overseeing the daily operations. During her collegiate career, she earned a Master's degree in Library Science.
