Joan Frances Kleinbrodt Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Education
Ms. Kleinbrodt believes that teachers need to build a love of learning in order for students to succeed
NORTHRIDGE, CA, August 5, 2011 /Education PR News/ -- Joan Frances Kleinbrodt, Teacher for the Los Angeles Unified School District, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in education.
With an expertise in English as a second language instruction, Ms. Kleinbrodt provides education to students in an inner-city school system, teaching them all subjects. Throughout her 24 years in education, she has stressed her belief that not every child learns the same. She strives to provide the best education because she believes that teachers need to build a love of learning in order for students to succeed. She is able to see the fruit of her labor when former students tell her that she made a difference in their lives.
As a member of the Los Angeles Unified School District faculty, Ms. Kleinbrodt mentors teachers, communicates with families, and provides local school leadership. A graduate of San Francisco State University, she earned a bachelor's degree in psychology, a teaching credential from California State University Los Angeles and is certified to teach English learners. She is a member of UTLA, the California Teachers Association, the American Federation of Teachers and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. In the coming years, Ms. Kleinbrodt intends to enter retirement, and volunteer with children and adults.
