Melinda Jennis advocates on behalf of educational and social reform for children with disabilities
MONTVILLE, NJ, September 19, 2011 /Education PR News/ -- Melinda K. Jennis, President of Pathways for Exceptional Children, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in special education.
As a parent of an exceptional child, Ms. Jennis recognized the need for exceptional children's services. She oversees the daily operations of her organization, advocates on behalf of educational and social reform for children with disabilities, and mentors adolescents in leadership training programs. Her success in this role can be attributed to her resilience and leadership skills.
Ms. Jennis graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder in 1983 with a Bachelor of Arts in communications. In 1995, she received designation as a licensed physical therapist from UMDNJ. Furthermore, she is a grant writer certified by the Community College of Morris and holds a John Maxwell Team Certification.
