Patricia Clark, Ed.D. Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Education

Dr. Patricia Clark has been selected as a VIP member for 2011-2012

ALCOA, TN, September 23, 2011 /Education PR News/ -- Patricia D. Clark, Assistant Professor at Lincoln Memorial University, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in education.

Dr. Clark has spent six of her 42 years of professional experience as an assistant professor at Lincoln Memorial University, where she teaches educational specialist degree courses and some master's degree programs. She is also responsible for managing Doctor of Education and dissertation groups, preparing students for curriculum tests, and working on dissertations. Prior to becoming an assistant professor, Dr. Clark taught high school English and theater for 33 years. Though it was always her goal to become a teacher, she stresses that she would not have come this far were it not for her dedication, perseverance, and ability to relate to her students.

Dr. Clark received a Doctor of Education from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 1984. She is a member of ASCD and president of AAUW, and the Institute for Learning Styles Research. She has published articles through TASCD. Dr. Clark is known for her expertise in student relations, and has earned numerous professional awards and distinctions, including a Teacher of the Year Award from Alcoa High School in 2005 and a Teacher of the Year Award from the Humanities Outreach of Tennessee in 2004. She has also been inducted into Phi Kappa Phi, Phi Delta Kappa, and the Education Hall of Honor at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
