Patti Gill Recognized for Excellence in Educational Consulting
Ms. Gill has been selected as a Professional of the Year for 2011-2012 by Cambridge Who's Who
ROYERSFORD, PA, September 12, 2011 /Education PR News/ -- Patti Gill, Owner and Educational Consultant for Personalized Lesson Plans, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in educational consulting.
Ms. Gill has spent more than 20 years in the field of education and has worked as a classroom teacher, high school staff developer and literacy coach. She has demonstrated ability in working with student assessment data and expertise in ensuring that literacy strategies are being used effectively. She is now the proprietor of Personalized Lesson Plans, which provides literacy coaching to schools and school districts. Ms. Gill, who holds a Master of Education with a concentration in reading, works directly with educators to refine their instructional strategies. She has created her own Six Sigma procedures for working with schools, which thus far have yielded excellent results.
In addition, Ms. Gill published the well-received book, "Literacy Strategies & Instruction: Grades K-12," in 2009. Ms. Gill's additional professional endeavors include serving as an adjunct professor for Cabrini College's reading specialist program and a facilitator for the Penn Literacy Network, which prepares leaders and practitioners, both locally and globally, to be educational leaders who foster high achievement for all learners. Ms. Gill feels that it is crucial for children to become competent readers, and wants to provide teachers with the instructional strategies they need to help students achieve success.
