Joanna Watson Recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Educational Administration

Joanna Watson Utilizes her Extensive Knowledge of Foreign Language Teaching to Lead EAQUALS to Success

NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE, UNITED KINGDOM, January 23, 2012 /Education PR News/ -- Joanna Watson, Director of EAQUALS Accreditation and Consultancy Services, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in educational administration.

Ms. Watson has garnered 20 years of experience in her field and in the last year has been appointed as a director for EAQUALS, an international association of institutions and organizations involved in language education. As the association's director of accreditation and consultancy services, she oversees the company's inspection scheme, including appointing and training inspectors together with a team of experienced inspectors. In addition, she manages standard inspections of foreign language schools in the UK and abroad.

Because of her wide-ranging knowledge and field experience, Ms. Watson is able to impart her extensive understanding as a foreign language teacher. She has had teaching posts in the UK, Bahrain, Sharjah, Dubai, Switzerland and Kuwait, and utilizes this experience to expertly mentor and coach new teacher inspectors. She has also been a teacher trainer and course director for the Cambridge Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults.

Attributing her success to the support and guidance that she received from her colleagues, Ms. Watson became involved in her profession when she applied to EAQUALS for accreditation from an organization located in the United Arab Emirates. After obtaining the accreditation, she was asked to become an inspector. She was an inspector and member of the inspection sub-committee before her present appointment.

Ms. Watson earned a Postgraduate Certificate in Education and in 1996 received a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Sunderland, graduating with honours. She has also earned a Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults, and a Diploma in Community Education, Youth and Community Work. She is a member of IATEFL, ETAS and ILM. Looking forward, Ms. Watson plans to continue in her role as a director of EAQUALS Accreditation and Consultancy Services and hopes to expand the programmes and training of the inspectors. She also plans to increase her exploration of dyslexia in relation to learning a foreign language.
